If Democrats are serious about targeting Texas in 2012, the candidate needs to be someone who is able to uphold the principles of the Democratic Party. Having a tarnished record that includes authorizing or being unaware of the use of torture isn’t a principle that is representative of the Democratic Party and certainly isn’t that of a leader that can represent the state of Texas.
